We’re looking for a Senior Frontend engineer to join OLX Autos, can be based anywhere in Spain . We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who would work on next-generation technologies that touch millions of customers worldwide. You will have the opportunity to solve hard real world problems while being part of an amazing team that encourages helping and learning from each other. Continuous integration, auto-scaled rolling releases, event-driven microservice architectures are all part of our daily gig. You will be part of both a cross-functional squad and a company-wide Frontend community of practice. This means you will be able to have an impact on the features your squad owns and the general strategy for the Frontend community. Your challenge: You will be writing high-quality code using object-oriented principles with great testing coverage. You will be Translating high-level business problems into scalable design and code. Creating libraries for larger consumption, defining APIs, and owning end-to-end services. Mentoring junior engineers while optimizing application architectures. You will ensure platform and application readiness in terms of capacity, performance, monitoring, scalability, and stability. You will influence product requirements and operational plans. Instill best practices for development and champion their adoption, while working with product managers to estimate and plan projects in the agile development framework. Who we’re looking for : You have experience in developing rich PWA applications using Javascript frameworks such as ReactJS or NextJS. You are used to working with asynchronous processing, partial page refresh, DOM traversal and manipulation. REST API are part of your daily basis. You know how to consume, document (including description languages like Swagger), and understand their architecture. You develop multi-channel applications that are mobile-responsive, and with a mobile-adaptive UI. Ability to effectively use testing and automation tools, like Gulp, Mocha, Karma, Chai, and Selenium. You understand the best practices in building large-scale high-performance systems and sites. Strong experience with Git version control. Customer centricity is part of your DNA, so providing an exceptional user experience is your obsession. Readiness to work in an Agile environment with continuous integration.
